Results were implemented by using Microsoft SQL Server Data Mining environment. The source of information is the database (DB), which was formed in Federal State Budgetary Institution, State Research Center-Federal Medical Biophysical Center named by A.I. Burnazyan and based on case histories of patients who were treated in the hospital for 40 years for the period from 1947 to 1987. Vaccination against influenza virus in children, elderly and working-age population, of high risk groups, is included into the National Immunization Program Schedule. Study objective: to assess the cost efficiency of influenza vaccination in working-age adults, who are not in risk groups and yet experience an occupational hazard in the workplace. Materials and methods: The analysis was carried out on a simulation model, considering the so-ciety perspective, the country epidemiology and farmacoepidemiologi within 1 year horizon. Results: Vaccination of 1000 citizens of working-age against influenza provides prevention of 51 cases of influenza (including, 0.22 cases with a lethal outcome). Thus vaccination will allow to reduce the budgetary costs by 104.7 thousand rubles. The sensitivity analysis showed rather high reliability of the received results. Conclusions: Vaccination against influenza, uptaken by the working-age adults, who experience an occupational hazard in the workplace, is not only clinically, but also economically effective and allows to cut the budget expenses caused by incidence of influenza. Thus in each case it is necessary to consider the local influenza epidemic forecast in each particular city.

Annotation:

We investigated the possibility of using water-soluble fitomelanin to improve the reproductive activity of intact male mice and restore male reproductive activity, reduced by effects of ionizing radiation. In the experiment, to stimulate the reproductive activity of male mice, they were given a course of melanin in liquid form, orally. The experiment was conducted with fitomelanin with water solubility not less than 80% and the concentration of paramagnetic centers not less than 8×10 17 spin/g, dissolved in the distilled water at an effective concentration. Animals were consuming fitomelanin dissolved in their drinking water, for 8–10 days before the mating and within the mating period. The stimulating effect was achieved in case of a course intake of melanin, in concentration 12.5–50 mg per 100 ml of drinking water, thus increasing the number of animals per litter in intact mice in 1.34 times at and in mice with reproductive activity compromised by radiation exposure – in 1.23 times.

Purpose to evaluate the morbidity rates among the defense industry employees dealing with explosive materials. This study was based on the information received from the official forms № 01-C approved by the FMBA order dated December 31, 2010 №1125 ‘About report on the medical care provided to the workers of the serviced enterprises’. Statistical analysis of the morbidity rate, the prevalence of morbidity, index of disability among workers of the defense industry dealing with explosive materials has been conducted. We ran a comparative analysis of morbidity rates among employee working in two enter-prises: ‘Electrokhimpribor’ and ‘Priborostroitel’ny zavod’ that had contact with ionizing radiation, along with the employees from the Department №220 at the Electrochemical facility. The morbidity data on various disease and disease forms were collected over the resent five years. Over the observation period for the workers of department №220 at the ‘Electrokhimpribor’ we observed a morbidity rate increase in cardiovascular and digestive system pathology. The largest prevalence in circulatory system diseases had: blood hypertension, and cerebrovascular disease. The frequency o malignant tumors increased in 1.2 times.

The employees of ‘Priborostroitel’ny zavod’ experiencing exposure to IR, had hire frequency of the circulatory system diseases compared to the employees at the Department №220 at ‘Electrokhimpribor’. This is particularly true with respect to the coronary heart disease (increase by a factor of 26.6).

The workers of the two enterprises having contact with ionizing radiation, have a higher incidence of chronic bronchitis (increase by the factor of 17.3), as well as the incidence of peptic ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer (increase by the factor of 4.4) compared to the workers from department №220 of ‘Electrokhimpribor’.

The workers of the both enterprises common to ionizing radiation exposure, yet employees of the ‘Priborostroitel’ny zavod’ have a higher rate of coronary artery disease (increase by the factor of 1.5) compared to the‘Electrokhimpribor’ employees from the department №220.

Annotation:

The mortality of the fleet personnel was studied on the data submitted by the district health centers FMBA for the period from 2000 to 2012. There were analyzed 633 deaths of the sea men of working-age. It was established that the mortality rate for the fleet personnel within the studied period was in 8.9 times less than mortality rate for men of working-age throughout Russia. According to the data from the district medical centers, mortality rate during the voyage was lower, than during the post-voyage period. In the voyage the death has been caused mainly by the cardio-vascular diseases, as for the post-voyage period the death was mainly caused by the neoplastic diseases . On the basis of the obtained data analysis, there were made suggestions for improvement of medical and sanitary service provided to the fleet personnel.
